• How To Get Started

For this Thanksgiving, we at Gracepoint challenge all of you to a Thanksgiving Dare.

    What’s a Thanksgiving Dare?

Well, we dare you, from Nov. 8th to Nov. 28th, to practice 21 days of gratitude. How? First, get a copy of the Thanksgiving Dare Chart.  Second, think about what you’re going to do. You can do traditional things like volunteer at a soup kitchen or visit a convalescent home. Or you may want to dig up your old photo album and write about the people or moments God placed in your life–moments that you are thankful for. Or you may go out on a limb and write an email to your spouse, your best friend or your Life Group leader and let them know how much you appreciate them. You don’t have to do the Thanksgiving Dare alone, but you can do it with your Life Group. Or you can reflect about something or someone that you are thankful for.

And then write about it. Write about it on this blog and let the brothers and sisters at Gracepoint know how you dared to practice 21 days of gratitude.

Another thing that you can do is to share things that you have been writing on the 21 days of gratitude chart that you have been filling out.  All you need to do is click on on of the topics (look to the right), and add a comment about what you are thankful for.

    Writing on this blog.
